Tech Tree - Awsome and massivediplomacy - to confusingI love the tech treein this game.. very massive.Hopefully they will make a part 6 which is updated to the times.made mods along time ago for the game, but the ai never used them.Wish other sciface games would have such a massive tech tree.its been a while since i played it, but nonetheless i recommend itgood luck. Cannot get it to activate? Have downloaded it and go to play and it seems to lock up. Maybe it does not work with windows 10?. Fantastic game, but ridiculous to get running properly on Windows 7 and even worse to do on windows 10 due to abandonment of the developer a couple years after release. Newer OS features and drivers don't play nice with this older software. While the game is amazing, due to the many issues now surrounding it (the last OS it worked really well on was XP) I recommend trying Endless Space 2 instead. It isn't the same experience, but you may find it to be a good alternative as I did.. Blindingly addictive, albeit with moments of glitchyness. The enemy AI can sometimes choose strategies that cause its own civilisation to stagnate (remind you of anyone?) & some visual errors can lead to crashes. Save often!. Might be old but still fun to play, although I ain't the hugest fan of pure turn based!. Ok, I've got over 100+ hours. I know the how and the whys of this game. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! The mouse controls need a lot more work. Key board controls are much more simple, but you have to learn them and they are not done with any intelligence. There are countless bugs, lock-ups, and total frustration. If some player wants to do an action let it go to the action, but a back button!! asking "are you sure" for every thing is crazy. Just like this game. I want my money back!. The game itself - pretty good albeit complicated with a steep learning curve.Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get working on any modern OS.
